Come September 1st, I will have a new job and my family will be living in a new state.
I know what you’re thinking. “Chris in Texas, where it’s hot, and hot and Oh my Lord it’s Hot!” Yeah I try not to think about the melting that will be happening after I get there.
Elevated temperatures aside, I and my family, are very excited about this move. My time at Asbury has been great; I have grown as a person, developer and employee in ways that I didn’t think possible a little over three years ago when I took the Web Architect postition.

Part of my job at the College is to support the Public Relations Department when their endeavors involve our web presence. During Ichthus, PR runs an American Idol like contest, which has had various names over the years, with this year being "AC LIVE".

We have been using Crazy Egg at Asbury for the past few months, and it has been nothing but frustration. We are a fairly well trafficked site, not a google or c|net mind you, but we average in the millions of hits a year, so not too shabby.
Read the rest »Today, in the year 2007, the so-called civilized world still runs rampant with slavery. It is estimated that as many as 27 million people are in slavery today.
200 years ago, one man could no longer ignore the demands of his conscience and rose up to lead the fight for the outlaw of the slave trade in Great Britian. His name was William Wilberforce. This February marks the 200th anniversary of the day Wilberforce won his fight, and my employer Asbury College, along with companies like Walden Media and Bristol Bay Productions have joined forces to continue this fight.
