For any of you who signed up to be updated as to the release date of this book, ignore the emails from Amazon you are getting.
The publisher and I parted ways months ago, and there is no book to buy. I have the 11 of 12 chapters I wrote, and I hope to one day have it published; either through another tech publisher or something like LuLu.
Again, if you get an email saying my book is to be released on the 16th, ignore it.

Yes, me too, I'd love to know the table of contents or so. I had great expectations for this book.
Will it still be published this year? Will its content still reflect WordPress in early 2007?
Please tell us what you were talking about.
At worst, you can turn your book in a ebook supporting blog/forum.

I was really looking forward to this. I use wordpress a fair bit and I was hoping for something to open my eyes a bit to its real capabilities. I'm sure if there was an ebook of it there would be plenty of buyers, me for certain.

I'd definitely be up for the ebook idea, but then I'd try and get it printed in some format so I can scribble on it and you know actually use the thing :)

Amazon is now showing that the book will be available March 5, 2007. Is it back on or is Amazon clueless as to what has happened? Publish it on Lulu please, many of us wanted this book.

I just came from the Amazon site myself (found you on google, as the Amazon link is broken--as noted by Sabine). I'm disappointed that the book is in limbo, and would like to get it when it comes out--in whatever format.
I'd heard that Andy Wibbels (author of Blog Wild) is just about to publish an e-book on WordPress. I wonder if this may have anything to do with the cancellation of your book?
